Ernest Ranglin

Jamaican guitarist and ska pioneer. As well as being an artist in his own right, Ernest's distinctive guitar playing can be heard on records by Jimmy Cliff, Monty Alexander, Prince Buster, The Skatalites and the Eric Deans Orchestra - to name but a few.

His signature track is "Surfin'" from his early Studio One days.
