London-based ska-pop and soul outfit were formed in 1976, and after the release of 'One Step Beyond' in 1979, the septet maintained a grip on the UK singles charts for many years.
Their many hits include 'One Step Beyond', 'Embarrassment', 'My Girl', 'Baggy Trousers', 'It Must Be Love', 'Our House' and 'House Of Fun'.
Their early production-relationship with Clive Langer and Alan Winstanley was renewed on 2009's 'The Liberty Of Norton Folgate', which provided them with their first Top 5 hits since 1981's '7' album. "Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da" reached the UK top 10 on its release in 2012 and was followed by "Can't Touch Us Now" (2016), plus 2023's: "Theatre of the Absurd Presents C'est la Vie".
