Angela Gheorghiu
Romanian soprano-opera singer, active since 1990.
She made her international debut at the Royal Opera House, London (in 'Don Giovanni') and rose to prominence in 'La Traviata' in 1994.
Georghiu won Best Opera Recording for the 2001 album "Manon" (Massanet).
She was married to opera-star Roberto Alagna for several years.
