Liverpudlian lead-singer with Echo and the Bunnymen who has also released a handful of solo singles and albums.

His first foray into solo work was a 78 rpm release of the Kurt Weill standard, 'September Song'.

Debut album 'Candleland' was a modest success in 1990 and featured Liz Fraser (Cocteau Twins) singing on the title track.

Other solo works include 'Mysterio' (1992) and 'Slideling' (2003).
