Chas and Dave
Music-hall and rhythm n blues duo who 'invented' the genre 'rockney', a mixture of pub songs, boogie-woogie and rock n roll. They had considerable success during the 80s with songs such as "Gertcha", "Ain't No Pleasing You", "Rabbit", "Margate" and "Snooker Loopy" as well as a few collaborations with Spurs FC and McCoy's Premier League Darts.
The duo initially retired in 2009, but reformed in 2011.
