Jean-Michel Jarre

Jean-Michel Jarre is a renowned French electronic musician whose albums "Oxygene", "Equinoxe", "Magnetic Fields", "Zoolook", "Revolutions" and more have influenced (and continue to influence) a myriad of musicians.

As well as these albums, he is known for his spectacular live shows, featuring all types of electronic instruments, lasers, fireworks, performers and much more.

He released his debut album of experimental electronic music, "Deserted Palace" in 1972, followed by the soundtrack album "Les Granges Brûlées" in 1973 and 1976's ground-breaking album "Oxygene" (1976), "Équinoxe" (1978), "Magnetic Fields" (1981), "Music for Supermarkets" (1983), "Zoolook" (1984), "Rendez-Vous" (1986), "Revolutions" (1988), "Waiting for Cousteau" (1990), "Chronologie" (1993), "Oxygène 7-13" (1997), "Métamorphoses" (2000), "Interior Music" (2001), "Sessions 2000" (2002), "Geometry of Love" (2003), "Téo & Téa" (2007), "Oxygène: New Master Recording (2007), "Electronica Volume 1" (2015), "Electronica volume 2: The Heart of Noise" (2016) and "Oxygene 3", marking the 40th anniversary of the seminal, "Oxygene" (2016).

"Electronica Volume 1" features collaborations with the likes of Vince Clarke, Air, Laurie Anderson, Tangerine Dream, Moby, Little Boots, Gesaffelstein and more. Volume 2 features collaborations with Pet Shop Boys, Primal Scream, Julia Holter, The Orb, Yello, Hans Zimmer, Gary Numan and more.
