John Hiatt

US singer, pianist, guitarist and songwriter from Indiana.

Hiatt has written several hits for other artists, yet his prominence increased with the 1987 album, 'Bring The Family', recorded with Ry Cooder and Nick Lowe.

He was also a member of the more traditional acoustic-rock super-group, Little Village (with Lowe, Cooder and Jim Keltner of Travelling Wilburys).

His songs have been covered by a wide range of artists including Bob Dylan, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Willie Nelson, Joan Baez, Paula Abdul, Iggy Pop, Emmylou Harris, Rosanne Cash, Joe Cocker, Chaka Khan and more.
