The Beat featuring Ranking Jnr
The Beat are an English 2-tone ska band formed in 1978. Current line-up features Ranking Junior Murphy - vocals, among others.
During their '80s heyday, they chalked up many hit-singles including "Tears of a Clown", "Mirror in the Bathroom" and "Can't Get Used To Losing You" as well as hit albums "I Just Can't Stop It" and "Wha'ppen".
The band released their first new album in almost 3.5 decades, "Bounce" in 2016.
Founder member, Ranking Roger passed away in 2019.
