Alabama Shakes
Athens (Alabama) based blues-rock outfit formed in 2009 by Brittany Howard - vocals and guitar, Zac Cockrell - bass, Steve Johnson - drums and Heath Fogg - guitar.
They issued their debut album "Boys and Girls" in 2012 - it reached #3 in the UK and was a top 10 hit worldwide. They topped that in 2015 with the release of "Sound & Color", which topped the US charts and won a 2016 "Best Alternative Music Album" Grammy.
After a nine year hiatus, the band announced that they are working on new music and will be touring as of 2026.
