Ludovico Einaudi

Turin-based contemporary classical composer and pianist.

Key releases include "Le Onde" "I Giorni" "Una Mattina", "Nightbook" and 2015's "Elements".

His musical style is usually made up of pretty, cyclical piano passages, many of which have been used on numerous TV idents as well as films such as "This is England".

He released his debut album, "Time Out " in 1988, followed by: "Stanze " (1992), "Salgari " (1995), "Le Onde " (1996), "Ultimi Fuochi " (1998), "Fuori dal Mondo " (1998), "Eden Roc " (1999), "Luce dei miei Occhi" (2001), "I Giorni " (2001), "Dr. Zhivago " (2002), "Diario Mali (with Ballaké Sissoko) " (2003), "Le parole di mio padre " (2003), "Una Mattina " (2004), "Divenire " (2006), "Nightbook " (2009), "Cloudland" (2009), "In a Time Lapse " (2013), "Elements " (2015), "Seven Days Walking" (2019), "12 Songs from Home" (2020), "Cinema" (2021 - compilation), plus 2022's "Underwater" solo piano album.
