Tony Christie

English easy-listening singer and musician who had hits with 'Las Vegas', 'What I Did For Maria' and 'Is This the Way to Amarillo' back in 1971.

Tony was propelled back to fame in 2005 after the re-release of 'Is This the Way to Amarillo' featuring 'Peter Kay' for Comic Relief. The single reached no. 1, staying in the charts for seven weeks.

In 2008, Christie recorded the album "Made in Sheffield" with Richard Hawley and in 2011, Tony celebrated 50 years in the music business.
