B. B and Q Band

The B. B. & Q. Band (the Brooklyn, Bronx, and Queens Band) are and American soul/ post-disco band formed in 1979 by businessman Jacques Fred Petrus.

They released their debut album, "The B. B. & Q. Band" in 1981, followed by: "All Night Long" (1982), "Six Million Times" (1983), plus 1985's: "Genie".
