Iconic soul/reggae and pop singer from Jamaica.

Her early work was predominantly disco-soul and included the albums "Fame" and "Muse", before working with Sly & Robbie on a successful string of Island albums, such as "Warm Leatherette", "Nightclubbing" and "Living My Life" (repeated on 2009's "Hurricane").

Her key songs include "Pull Up To The Bumper", "Private Life", "Slave To The Rhythm" and "My Jamaican Guy".
