Richard Carpenter is an American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, and one half of the multi award-winning, multi-platinum pop duo, The Carpenters, along with his younger sister, Karen.

He released his debut solo album, "Time" in 1987, followed by: "Pianist • Arranger • Composer • Conductor" (1998), plus 2022's: "Richard Carpenter's Piano Songbook".
