Karnataka are a Welsh progressive-rock band formed in 1997, featuring founder member, Ian Jones ( bass, guitars, keyboards, percussion), plus Gonzalo Carrera - keyboards and Filippo Galli - drums.

The band line-up has changed on numerous occasions since their formation, with them disbanded in 2004 to return in 2005.

They released their debut eponymous album in 1998, followed by: "The Storm" (2000), "Delicate Flame of Desire" (2003), "The Gathering Light" (2010), plus 2015's: "Secrets of Angels".
