Children's character and TV series principally shown on S4C as a Welsh-language title in 1985 but now globally recognized as an English-speaking creation.

Sam, a fireman in the town of Pontypandy, tackles local fires and rescues the town's cats and wayward teens with the help of Penny, Elvis and Station Officer Steele.
