Formed by ex-Carter USM guitarist Les "Fruitbat" Carter, Abdoujaparov's musical foundations are the joyous and shambolic influences of 1977 punk rock. The music is raucous, fast and sometimes a bit country.

They released their debut album, "Air Odeon Disco Pub" in 2002, followed by: "Cycle Riot History Gang" (2007), "Seaside Arcade Bingo Patrol" (2014), plus 2021's: "Race Home Grow Love".
