Welsh football club, formed in Swansea in 1912, joining the Football League in 1921.

Swansea played at Vetch Field before moving to the all-seater Liberty Stadium in 2005.

After winning promotion to the Premier League in 2010/11, the Swans were the first Welsh team to play in the top flight.
