Sigur Rós

Ambient Icelandic band formed in 1994, featuring founder members, 'Jonsi' Birgisson - vocals/ guitars and Georg Holm - bass, plus Kjartan "Kjarri" Sveinsson - keys.

The band found international fame with the release of their 2005 single Hoppípolla.

They released their debut album, "Von" in 1997, followed by: "Ágætis byrjun" (1999), "( )" (2002), "Takk..." (2005), "Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust" (2008), "Valtari" (2012), plus 2013's: "Kveikur".
