Kurt Elling

American jazz vocalist from Chicago, active since the mid-1990s. His debut album, 'Close Your Eyes', was issued in 1995.

Elling has been nominated many times for Grammy Awards, picking up his first win for Best Vocal Jazz Album for 2009's 'Dedicated to You'.

He released his debut album, "Close Your Eyes" in 1995, followed by: "The Messenger" (1997), "This Time It's Love" (1998), "Live in Chicago" (2000), "Flirting with Twilight" (2001), "Man in the Air" (2003), "Nightmoves" (2007), "Dedicated to You: Kurt Elling Sings the Music of Coltrane and Hartman" (2009), "The Gate" (2011), "1619 Broadway - The Brill Building Project" (2012), "Passion World" (2015), "The Beautiful Day: Kurt Elling Sings Christmas" (2016), "The Questions" (2018), "Secrets Are the Best Stories" (2020), plus 2021's: "SuperBlue".
