Tim Minchin

Tim Minchin is an Australian multi award-winning comedian, actor, composer, songwriter, pianist and musical director.

Minchin co-wrote a Grammy-nominated musical version of Roald Dahl's novel 'Matilda' for the RSC, which had its première in 2010, and won numerous awards, including a Tony, Laurence Olivier and Evening Standard Awards.

Tim was also selected to appear in the 2012 touring production of Jesus Christ Superstar. In 2016, he composed the music for the multi award-winning Old Vic production of "Groundhog Day".

He released his debut album, "Sit" in 2001, followed by the live albums: "Darkside" (2005), "So Rock" (2006), "Ready for This?" (2009), "Live at the O2" (2010), "Tim Minchin and The Heritage Orchestra" (2011), plus 2013's: "So Fucking Rock". Second studio album, "Apart Together" was released in 2020.

Tours include: "Ready for this?", "Strings" and "Back".
