Musical written by Arthur Laurents (book), Leonard Bernstein (music), and Stephen Sondheim (lyrics). The story is inspired by Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

In 2013, Sadler's Wells presented the musical with the original Jerome Robbins choreography.
