Extreme metal band from Ireland, formed in 1987 by Pól MacAmlaigh (bass) and Ciarán MacUiliam (guitars).

Primordial combine black metal with the sounds of Irish folk and are fronted by lead vocalist Alan Averill.

Their debut album, 'Imrama ', was released in 1995.
