Atheist are an American death-metal band from Florida, formed in 1987, featuring founder member, Kelly Shaefer on lead vocals.

They released their debut album, "Piece of Time" in 1989, followed by: "Unquestionable Presence" (1991), "Elements" (1993), plus 2010's: "Jupiter".
