Harvey Mason

Harvey Mason is a renowned American drummer and producer whose funky drumming can be heard on 70s/ 80s Herbie Hancock and Headhunters albums.

As a sideman, Harvey has worked on records by the likes of Mile Davis, Chick Corea, Freddie Hubbard, Bob James, Lee Ritenour, Fourplay, Joe Pass, Herb Alpert and of course The Headhunters and Herbie Hancock amongst many others.

As a band leader, Harvey has released the albums: "Marching In The Street" in 1975, plus "Earth Mover" (1976), "Funk In A Mason Jar" (1977), "Groovin' You" (1979), "M.V.P" (1981), "Stone Mason" (1982) and 2014's "Chameleon".
