L7 are an all female American rock/ grunge band formed in 1985 by guitarists Donita Sparks and Suzi Gardner.
The band rose to fame with their 1992 single "Pretend We're Dead", taken from the album "Bricks Are Heavy". Other releases include their debut eponymous album in 1988, plus "Smell the Magic" (1990), "Hungry for Stink" (1994), "The Beauty Process: Triple Platinum" (1997) and their final studio album "Slap-Happy" in 1999.
