Praying Mantis
British melodic heavy-metal band from London and formed in 1974. Band members include Chris Troy, Tino Troy, Andy Burgess, Benjy Reid and Mike Freeland.
Their initial heyday was during the NWOBHM boom in the '80s, during which they scored a hit-album with the debut "Time Tells No Lies", followed by: "Throwing Shapes" (1984), "Predator in Disguise" (1991), "A Cry for the New World" (1993), "To the Power of Ten" (1995), "Forever in Time" (1998), "Nowhere to Hide" (2000), "The Journey Goes On" (2003), "Sanctuary" (2009), "Legacy" (2015), plus 2018's: "Gravity".
