Jill Scott is an American neo-soul singer from Philadelphia, active since 1999.

She became well-known for the acclaimed album "Who Is Jill Scott?". She followed that with: "Beautifully Human: Words and Sounds Vol. 2" (2004), "The Real Thing: Words and Sounds Vol. 3" (2007), "The Light of the Sun" (2011), plus 2015's: "Woman".
