Guy Barker

Trumpet player and composer who began his career with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra in the 70s.

He has sessioned with the late Johnny Dankworth, Ornette Coleman, Carla Bley and Gil Evans as well as contemporary acts such as Mike Oldfield, The The, XTC, Sting and Natalie Merchant.

He has also been assigned as a musical director at the London Jazz Festival in 2008, 2009 and 2010, producing the show "Jazz Voices".
