An opera written by Antonín Dvořák, based on Czech fairy-tales and concerning the love a water sprite ('Rusalka') has for a human-prince.
The opera was first performed in Prague on 31 March 1901, with Růžena Maturová as the first Rusalka.
The most familiar song is 'Song To The Moon'.
