Kenneth Grahame's classic children's story about Mole, Ratty and Toad of Toad Hall, first published in 1908.
In 1929, the then-famous playwright, A. A. Milne, who wrote Winnie the Pooh and who loved The Wind in the Willows, adapted a part of it for stage as Toad of Toad Hall in 1929.
