Elvis Costello

Elvis Costello is an influential, London-born singer-songwriter, real name Declan MacManus.

Costello, who emerged in the mid 1970s, is known worldwide thanks to hits including 'Oliver's Army', 'Alison', 'I Don't Want To Go To Chelsea' and 'Shipbuilding'.

He had also recorded under the name of The Imposter and also with The Attractions, and collaborated with a number of high profile artists including a songwriting partnership with Paul McCartney.

His backing band, The Imposters include Steve Nieve - keyboards, Pete Thomas - drums and Davey Faragher - bass (ex-Cracker).

Releases include the debut album, "My Aim Is True" in 1977, followed by: "This Year's Model" (1978), "Armed Forces" (1979), "Get Happy!!"
