Malcolm Gladwell is an American author and writer with The New Yorker magazine who specialises in looking at the unexpected implications of research in the social sciences.
Published books include: "The Tipping Point" (2000), "Blink" (2005), "Outliers" (2008) and "What the Dog Saw" (2009) - all of which are thouight-provoking and all made The New York Times Best Seller list.
Malcolm has been described by the Observer as "the most influential thinker of the ipod generation".
