Birmingham-based indie-rock/darkwave band featuring Tom Smith - lead vocals, rhythm guitar and piano, Russell Leetch - bass guitar and Ed Lay - drums and percussion. Chris Urbanowicz left in April 2012.

The band were previously known as Pilot, The Pride and Snowfield.

The debut album, 'The Back Room' was nominated for a Mercury Music Prize in 2005.

Other releases include "An End Has a Start" (2007), "In This Light and on This Evening" (2009), "The Weight of Your Love" (2013), "In Dream" (2015) and "Black Gold" (2022).
