The New Power Generation

The New Power Generation are an American band - formerly the backing band for Prince from 1990 to 2013.

The first Prince album they appeared on was 1991's: "Diamonds and Pearls", followed by: "Love Symbol" (1992), "One Nite Alone... Live!" (2002) and "C-Note" (2003). They also contributed to the albums: "Graffiti Bridge", "The Slaughterhouse", "3121" and others.
