Angel are an American rock band from Washington, DC, formed in 1975 by by Punky Meadows and Mickie Jones.

They released their debut album, "Angel" in 1975, followed by: "Helluva Band" (1976), "On Earth as It Is in Heaven" (1977), "White Hot" (1978), "Sinful" (1979), "In the Beginning" (1999) and 2019's: "Risen".
