Adrian Sherwood

Adrian Sherwood is a ground-breaking producer, DJ and label boss of On-U Sound Records.

He has created his own dub sound over the years, using echo and delay effects to extreme degrees.

Sherwood helped form the '80s/'90s breaks, funk and hip-hop outfit, Tackhead, but also produced similar acts such as Singers and Players, Barmy Army, Bim Sherman, African Head Charge and Voice of Authority.

His remix work has covered all manner of genres and artists including Depeche Mode, Primal Scream, Wolfgang Press, Woodentops and PWEI.

He has also recorded solo albums, most notably for the Realworld label.
