Týr

Týr are a Faroese viking/ folk-metal band, featuring founder members, Heri Joensen - vocals/ guitar and Gunnar H. Thomsen - bass, plus Tadeusz Rieckmann - drums and Hans Hammer - guitars.

They released their debut album, "How Far to Asgaard" in 2002, followed by: "Eric the Red" (2003), "Ragnarok" (2006), "Land" (2008), "By the Light of the Northern Star" (2009), "The Lay of Thrym" (2011), "Valkyrja" (2013), plus 2019's: "Hel".
