Ian Gillan is an English singer best known as the lead singer and lyricist for the rock band Deep Purple.

He released his debut album, "Child in Time" in 1976, followed by: "Live at the Budokan" (1977), "Scarabus" (1977), "Clear Air Turbulence" (1977), "Gillan" (1978), "Mr. Universe" (1979), "Glory Road" (1980), "Future Shock" (1981), "Double Trouble (live)" (1981), "Magic" (1982), "Accidentally on Purpose" (1988), "Naked Thunder" (1990), "Toolbox" (1991), "Dreamcatcher" (1997), "Gillan's Inn" (2006), "Live in Anaheim" (2008), plus 2009's: "One Eye to Morocco".
