Lauren Spencer Smith is a British-born Canadian singer-songwriter from Vancouver Island. She appeared in tie 2020 edition of American Idol in 2020, finishing in the top 20.

She released her debut album, "Unplugged, Vol. 1" in 2019, which was nominated for a 2020 Juno award, followed by: "Unplugged, Vol. 2" (2019), plus 2023's: "Mirror".
