Le Tigre are an American electronic rock band from New York, formed in 1998 and featuring founder members: Kathleen Hanna (of Bikini Kill) and Johanna Fateman, plus JD Samson.

They released their debut album, "Le Tigre" in 1999, followed by: "Feminist Sweepstakes" (2001), plus 2004's: "This Island".

The band went on hiatus on 2007, reforming in 2010, 2016 and once again in 2022.
