Vio-lence are an American thrash metal band formed in 1985 in the San Francisco Bay Area, featuring founder members, Phil Demmel - lead guitar, Deen Dell - bass, Sean Killian - vocals, Perry Strickland - drums and long-term rhythm guitarist, Ray Vegas.

They released their debut album, "Eternal Nightmare" in 1988, followed by: "Oppressing the Masses" (1990), plus 1993's: "Nothing to Gain".
