Blade Brown is Jonathon Wrate, an award-winning English rapper from Streatham, South East London. Mix-tape, "Financial Times" won two awards in the 2012 Official Mixtape Awards.

He released his debut mix-tape, "Nothing Long Volume 1" in 2004, followed by: "Hollowman Meets Blade" (2007 - with Giggs), "Best of Blade" (2009), "Bags and Boxes" (2010), "Financial Times" (2011), "Bags and Boxes 2" (2012), "Best of Blade 2" (2012), "Bags and Boxes 3" (2014), "Best of Blade 3" (2014), plus 2019's: "Bags and Boxes 3".
