The Trammps are an American disco/ soul band formed in Philadelphia in 1972, originally featuring vocalist, the late Jimmy Ellis, plus Harold Doc Wade, Stanley Wade and Earl Young.
Hits include: "Disco Inferno", "Zing Went the Strings Of My Heart" and "That's Where the Happy People Go", among many other familiar songs.
