Dessa is an American alt-pop/indie-rock performer and musician from Minneapolis, a member of the indie hip hop collective, Doomtree.

She released her debut album, "A Badly Broken Code" in 2010, followed by: "Castor, the Twin" (2011), "Parts of Speech" (2013), "Chime" (2018), plus 2023's: "Bury the Lede".
