Michael Alpert is an award-winning American klezmer and Yiddish singer and multi-instrumentalist - akey figure in the klezmer revival of the 1970s and 1980s.

Over the years he has been involved with the bands: Brave Old World, Khevrisa, Kapelye, The Brothers Nazaroff and Voices of Ashkenaz.
