Cap'n Jazz are an American emo/ post-hardcore band from Chicago, formed in 1989.

The band features brothers Tim Kinsella and Mike Kinsella, plus Davey Von Bohlen, Sam Zurick and Victor Villarreal.

They have split an reformed on a number of occasions, reforming most recently in 2017.
