Akua Naru is American rapper LaTanya Olatunji from Germany, based in Cologne. Akua's music draws on her passion for art and politics.

She released her debut album, "The Journey Aflame" in 2011, followed by "The Miner's Canary" (2015) and 2018's: "The Blackest Joy".
