"Born in Brussels, Lara spent the first five years of her life in Italy, at the foot of Mount Etna. Once she returned to the capital of Europe, her father (who is also Petula Clark's guitarist) and her Sicilian mother immediately suggested she took singing lessons."

Lera released her debut eponymous album in 1991, followed by "Carpe Diem" (1994), "Pure" (1996), "Lara Fabian" (1999), "Nue" (2001), "A Wonderful Life" (2004), "9" (2005), "Toutes les femmes en moi" (2009), "Every Woman in Me" (2009), "Mademoiselle Zhivago" (2010), "Le Secret" (2013) and 2015's: "Ma vie dans la tienne".
