Michael Messer is an English singer, songwriter, slide guitarist and producer originally from Middlesex. He has been noted as one of the greatest slide guitarists alongside Duane Allman and Ry Cooder (by Spirit magazine).

He released his debut album, "Diving Duck" in 1988, followed by: "Slidedance" (1990), "Rhythm Oil" (1993), "MOONbeat" (1995), "National Avenue" (1996), "King Guitar" (2001), "Second Mind" (2002), "Lucky Charms" (2006), "National Avenue" (2012), plus 2016's: "Call of the Blues" (as: Michael Messer's Mitra).
